Snipers feel like they're back up to par with their increased effective range and higher base accuracy. Stormtroopers are more or less unchanged, and Field Tech have a nice new bonus where their shield fans out when they end their turn, becoming a new cover point. Engineers still feel pretty useless but those pistols got a buff so they make for pretty good base defenders until you unlock Gunners.
